HIGH POINT – K.J. Garrett scored 22 points as High Point Christian Academy’s boys turned back Hickory Grove Christian 86-77 on Monday night.
Landon Sutton added 21 points for the Cougars (3-1), while Zach Shumate had 18.
The Lions fell to 1-4.
In the girls game, Hickory Grove prevailed 53-28. The Lions upped their record to 2-0. The Cougars moved to 0-3.
