ASHEVILLE — High Point Christian Academy’s girls turned back Asheville School 52-32 in non-conference action on Saturday.The Cougars upped their record to 13-6. The Blues fell to 4-9.In the boys game, Asheville Christian posted an 81-78 victor y in overtime. The Blues improved to 5-11. The Cougars fell to 12-12.Landon Sutton had 31 points and eight rebounds to lead HPCA, while PJ Underhill added 14 points, followed by KJ Garrett with 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Drake Carrick with nine points.
The Cougars return to Piedmont Triad Athletic Con-ference play Tuesday, hosting Greensboro Day School.
