Lady Ravens Varsity Golf Team Sets New School Records

Our undefeated Lady Ravens Varsity Golf team continues their outstanding performance by recording their sixth victory of the season against opponent Durham Academy on Sept. 18, 2017.
This season marks significant milestones for the team and for the Ravenscroft Girls Golf program. In their recent match against non-conference opponent Cardinal Gibbons High School on Sept. 14, 2017, the Lady Ravens played at a new venue to the team, Eagle Ridge Golf Course in Garner, and set a new school record by shooting a team score of 107!
Just one day prior, the Lady Ravens broke the six-year old school record of 115 (set in 2011) by shooting a team score of 114, showing their talent and determination by following up with the amazing school record-setting performance against Cardinal Gibbons HS.
During the match against Cardinal Gibbons HS, Junior Holly McCann scored five birdies and shot a round of 30 setting a new school record for an individual low score which beats the old 2011 school record by two strokes! The previous record was held by Evie Dole '12 with a score of 32.
