Greenfield Knights Varsity Can't Catch Up To Wilson Hall

Greenfield Knights Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in an 11-1 loss to Wilson Hall on Monday. Wilson Hall took the lead on a in the first inning.

The Greenfield Knights Varsity struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Wilson Hall, giving up 11 runs.

Wilson Hall got on the board in the first inning. An error scored one run for Wilson Hall.

Wilson Hall scored five runs in the sixth inning. Wilson Hall's big inning was driven by a walk by Jones, a single by Kinney, and by Schelder.

Schelder earned the win for Wilson Hall. The bulldog went three innings, allowing one run on zero hits and striking out six. DesChamps and Mims entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Alex Johnson took the loss for Greenfield Knights Varsity. The hurler surrendered ten runs on eight hits over five innings, striking out one.

Harrison Batchelor and Jeremy Johnson each collected one hit to lead Greenfield Knights Varsity.

Wilson Hall collected eight hits. Jones and DesChamps each had multiple hits for Wilson Hall.
