Lady Knights thrash Ridgecroft for 6th win
AHOSKIE — Sophomore guard Serenity McNair had the hot hand again for the Greenfield School varsity girls basketball team Monday but with some help from junior Jeallen Holland in a 54-25 romp at Ridgecroft.
McNair, who entered the game averaging 28.5 points per game, scored 29 while Holland added 17.
“We just played really good defense and got out and ran,” Knights head coach Bruce Wall said. “Jeallen hit some big shots for us and that opened things up for Serenity.”
McNair added seven assists while senior Libby Eagles grabbed 10 rebounds. Freshman Darcy Dean supplied eight points, six rebounds and five steals.
Greenfield, now 6-1, will visit Wilson Christian, the only team to have beaten the Knights this season, on Thursday.
