Greenfield bests Christ Covenant
WINTERVILLE — Samantha Wainwright served for five aces and collected 12 assists to lead the Greenfield School volleyball team to a 25-23, 25-20, 18-25, 25-19 triumph against 1-A Coastal Plain Independents Conference foe Christ Covenant School on Monday.
The Lady Knights improved to 4-6 overall and continue conference play at Community Christian at approximately 5 p.m. Thursday. That match will be contested in the Peace Church gym.
In Monday’s win, Wainwright was complemented by Summer Hassan with two aces, six kills and two blocks. Emma Brown served for four aces and had four digs. Caroline Stone added three aces, three kills and six digs Anna Merritt hause chipped in with two aces, six digs and four kills.
