CHARLOTTE — Four players scored in double figures for the Davidson Day girls to power a 70-34 romp over Bishop McGuinness on Monday.
Bishop trailed by just eight after the first quarter but was outscored 43-14 in the third and fourth quarters and fell to 7-9.
Danielle Nieters led the Villains (7-9) with 10 points and Elizabeth Knox had eight.
Maya Caldwell scored 22 to lead Davidson Day (12-1). Parker Tompkins and Courtney Meadows had 15 each. Alexis Bradford added 10.
Bishop plays host to Mount Airy today.
