Sweep lifts NRCA past Cannon School in 4A volleyball championship

RALEIGH, N.C. — North Raleigh Christian Academy won its sixth straight N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association volleyball state championship on Saturday evening in Raleigh.
The Knights swept Cannon School in straight sets 25-16, 25-12, 25-15 in the 4A state championship game.
North Raleigh Christian won the first set 25-16, dominated the second set 25-12, then won the third set 25-15 to claim the win. The third set included 5-0 start.
During the course of the season, North Raleigh Christian did not lose a single set to a team from North Carolina.
