Greenies soccer stays unbeaten in OT

Christ School struck first and struck last Thursday in Rabun Gap, Ga.
And the end result is that the Greenies (5-0-2) remain one of the few undefeated boys soccer teams left in Western North Carolina.
Cal Jansen's goal in the 84th minute off an assist from Devon Johnson pushed Christ School over the top for a 2-1 overtime win over Rabun Gap.
The Greenies outshot the Eagles, 14-11, and got on the board early in the second half off a penalty kick from Young Perry. Perry has four goals this season and they have all been PKs.
Will Iorio made six saves for the Christ School which is second in the latest NCISAA 3-A rankings. The Greenies are back home Friday for a game against Covenant Day that starts at 4:30 p.m.
