MR. Ronnie wall to BE instated as head of The Burlington School effective march 13
Ronnie Wall to serve as TBS' Head of School early
The Burlington School's 20 months have been full of change-new faculty, new students, stronger
academics, dynamic arts programs and more competitive athletics. The instatement of Ronnie
Wall as Head of School effective on March 13 ensures that TBS enhances and elevates these
programs once again.
Previously anticipated to take over as Head of School on July 1, happily Mr. Wall will bring his
expertise to The Burlington School early. "I am excited for the opportunity to be involved in the
future development of The Burlington School. My passion is the best education for young people,
and this role will allow me to work towards the continued success of an outstanding institution and
ultimately, the success of its students. I look forward to the challenges that lie before us, as they
will be sure to result in exciting opportunities," says Mr. Wall.
Mr. Wall will follow the successful tenure of Dr. Louis "Smokey" Oats, transitional Head of School
since July 2013. Dr. Oats has implemented vision for the future of TBS - driving enrollment up,
defining the purpose and mark of The Burlington School in the community and building a solid
academic, athletic and arts infrastructure by which students and faculty are held accountable to
high standards.
