Trinity-Greenfield could be title preview
The Trinity Christian boys’ basketball team clinched the top seed for the NCISAA Sandhills Conference postseason tournament Tuesday with a 74-42 win against Fayetteville Christian.
The Crusaders (21-1, 8-1 Sandhills) will put their 17-game winning streak on the line tonight at home in a nonconference game against Wilson Greenfield. The Knights are 25-4 and have won 10 straight. Game is set to begin at 7 p.m.
Greenfield won the NCISAA 1-A state title last season, beating Northwood Temple in the title game. Northwood Temple had beaten Trinity Christian by a point in the state semifinals.
