Barracuda Boys Down Hickory Christian Academy on Senior Night
On January 28, playing at Tri_city gym, the UCHS boys won a hard fought 42-28 victory over Hickory Christian Academy. Coach Jamel Walker’s boys were led by Jay Sowers with 13 points, Hayden Patel 9 and Wyatt Sain 8. The win, the fifth in a row for UCHS, moved the team to 9-8 overall and 2-2 in Foothills Conference play.
Prior to the game eight seniors and their parents were honored for all their contributions to the UCHS program. Those seniors were:
Garrett Burns, Davis Chamberlain, Eric Giometti, Jamie Harris, Zach Johnson, Reece Lovingood, Hayden Patel and Cody Zimmerman. Congratulations and thank you to all these fine young men.
