Cody Miller Named New UCHS Boys Soccer Coach
University Christian High School will begin the 2019 boys soccer season under the guidance of a new head coach for the program. Cody Miller will assume the reins of the Barracuda following the resignation of Trevor Lauber, who has relocated to Oregon for a new career opportunity. The transition from Lauber to Miller should be an easy one as both are graduates of Hickory High School and were members of the vaunted Red Tornadoes soccer program.
Miller, a 2009 Hickory High graduate, played four years at HHS as well as competing in the program at CVYSA. “Cody’s experience as a player in a program that competed at an extremely high level will be a valuable asset as he takes over the UCHS program” said Barracuda athletic director Jeff Taylor. “Cody is a young man with a strong work ethic and family background. He will be a tremendous addition to the UCHS athletic program and we welcome him to the Barracuda family” Taylor concluded.
Coach Miller looks forward to meeting with players and getting workouts started in the near future.
