Freedom volleyball’s Jasmine Wooten signs with Catawba

Jasmine Wooten, two-time 910Preps Volleyball Player of the Year, signed a scholarship offer to play for Catawba College on Saturday.
Wooten led Freedom Christian to the school’s first state championship this past season with a team-high 211 kills, and her 164 digs ranked second on the team.
An outside hitter and defensive specialist, she also finished among the Patriots’ top two in serve percentage and serve receptions.
Playing nearly every rotation for Freedom, she was named to the all-state team for the second straight season.
Wooten was also a member of this year’s state softball championship team, starting in the outfield.
