GREENSBORO, N.C.
— No. 2 Caldwell Academy extended its unbeaten streak to 15 matches after defeating No. 24 Greensboro Day School in straight sets on Wednesday from GDS's Dillard Gym.

The Eagles remain perfect in NCISAA Piedmont Triad Athletic Conference (PTAC) competition with the result as well. Overall, Caldwell Academy has won 53 straight league matches and that streak dates back to the 2015 varsity volleyball season.

The third set was a lot closer than the two prior with the home team, Greensboro Day, starting to go back-and-forth with the Eagles. GDS rallied within five points (18-13), but was unable to fully complete a comeback because Caldwell Academy finished the match off by winning 25-16.
