Cyclones swept by Spartans
The Community Christian volleyball team was swept, 25-14, 25-11, 25-13, by Henderson Kerr-Vance Academy on Thursday for its sixth loss in a row.
The Cyclones’ (3-11, 1-8) Lauren Pate had three kills, three assists, two blocks, two service points and an ace. Logan Woodard contributed a block, four service points, two kills and an assist. Abigail Jackson had two kills and Ava Pate had an assist, an ace and one service point.
Community Christian’s final regular-season game will be played at Winterville Christ Covenant on Tuesday.
