ROCKY MOUNT 5 WAYNE COUNTRY DAY 2
The varsity girls soccer team got an outstanding 5 to 2 road win at Wayne Country Day on Wednesday. Rachel Godwin led the scoring with 3 goals and 1 assist. Shelton Honey also scored a goal and had one assist. Samantha Carmichael added the other goal. Lorna Edison and Lindsey Boyette both had great games and had one assist each. Special shout-outs to Anna Everett and Emma Everett for each playing a tremendous 80 minutes of defense.
