Wesleyan basketball player Aaron Wiggins was named Co-Most Valuable Player last week atthe SC30 Select Challenge Camp in San Francisco. The Maryland commit hit six of 10 3-point shots andscored 20 points Tuesday night to help lead his team to the championship of the camp run by NBA starStephen Curry and Under Armour.
Wiggins, a 6-foot-6 shooting guard who began his high school basketball career at Grimsley, is aconsensus four-star recruit heading into his senior season with the Trojans. He is ranked No. 44 in the country in the Class of 2018 by 247Sports, No. 49 by Rivals and No. 51 by Scout.
Wesleyan not only welcomes back Wiggins but has another top-100 2018 recruit in forward JaylenHoard and adds Southwest Guilford transfers Keyshaun and Kobe Langley, both Virginia Tech commits in the Class of 2019, in the backcourt.
But power forward Ian Steere, a Creighton commit, announced Friday that he is transferring to Fayetteville Northwood Temple for his final year.
