GREENSBORO — Southeast Guilford nipped Wesleyan Christian Academy 2-1 in the semifinals of the Farm Bureau Invitational at First National Bank Field on Friday.
The Trojans fell to 15-1. The Falcons improved to 13-3.
Brett Kerry struck out nine and allowed two hits, one walk and two runs (none earned) to take the hard-luck loss for WCA. Jacob Kohns went 2 for 3 for the Trojans, while Patrick Bailey was 1 for 2.
Wesleyan completes tournament play today in the third-place game.
