Chris Lattimer stepping down as Northwood Temple boys' basketball coach
Athletic director Mike Oxendine said Lattimer is vacating the position to attend graduate school.
Lattimer took over the Eagles’ program in 2010. He accumulated a 114-78 record during his time there.
The Eagles reached the semifinal round of the NCISAA 1-A state playoffs twice, in 2013 and 2016, and won the Carolina Christian Conference title four times.
“It was a great run here at Northwood Temple,” Lattimer said. “The last six years have been amazing. I’ve gotten to coach some amazing players and build strong relationships with them, as well as the people in the school and the community.”
Lattimer said 12 of his former players have gone on to play basketball in college.
Oxendine said the school is currently interviewing potential candidates to succeed Lattimer.
