The first 2015-16 varsity boys basketball victory continued to elude host Community Christian School in the form of a 96-48 loss to 1-A Carolina Christian Conference rival Neuse Christian of Raleigh on Tuesday evening.
The combination of Neuse Christian’s 13 3-pointers and as about as many dunks sent the Cyclones to their third loss overall and second in the conference. Community Christian goes outside the conference with visit to Wayne Country Day on Thursday evening.

Sophomore Rashied Baines again paced the Cyclones scoring with a game-high 18 points, while eight-grader Michael Piccolo netted eight.
Balanced Neuse Christian got 15 points each from Kaleb Hunter and Ron Walden and 12 each from David Wilcox and D.J. Myers.
