SANFORD — The Community Christian School varsity girls basketball team christened the Mark Kent coaching era with a victory Friday night as the Lady Cyclones held off host Lee Christian 30-29.
Senior Morgan Lane had eight points to lead the way for CCS of the 1-A Coastal Independents Conference. Fellow senior Olivia Bullard tacked on seven points while Whitney Bissette, a third senior, had five.
CCS is the guest of Halifax Academy on Monday.
