Forte carries CCS by Oakwood
GREENVILLE — Finishing with 38 points, Jimmy Forte exploded in the scoring column for the Community Christian boys basketball team in a 59-50 win over Greenville Oakwood on Tuesday night.
Forte combined with Andrew Gattis, who scored 18 points, to account for all but three of the Cyclones’ 59 points in the victory.
Aiding the two scorers, Thomas Lane added six rebounds.
Community Christian will travel to Rocky Mount Faith Christian on Thursday.
