Cyclones register second win, 74-56

CLAYTON — The Community Christian varsity boys basketball team snapped a five-game slide with a 74-56 road victory against Southside Christian on Thursday evening.
Both teams play in the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association 1-A ranks.
Senior Jimmy Forte blistered the nets for 32 points to lead the Cyclones to their second win against five losses.
Forte was complemented by junior Andrew Gattis with 22 points and nine rebounds. Senior Mike Piccolo posted a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds.
