With another week of college basketball in the books, here are some of the top performances from players that represent Fayetteville. Take a look at the five players in the mix and vote below for the top player of the week.



• AU’DIESE TONEY, Pittsburgh:
The seventh leading scorer in the ACC, Toney leads the Panthers with an average of 18.3 points per game. In Pitt’s 30-point win against Northern Illinois, the 6-foot-6 junior scored 15 points on 4-of-8 shooting with a pair of 3-pointers and five free throws. He also dished out five assists and grabbed three rebounds. A Trinity Christian alumni.



• TRAVION MCCRAY, Western Carolina :
A former star at Village Christian Academy, McCray averaged 19 points in two wins for the Catamounts. The 6-foot-1 guard scored a career-high 26 points with five rebounds and six assists against Newberry. He followed up with 12 points and two steals against Tennessee Tech.



• EMMANUEL IZUNABOR, High Point:
A 6-foot-8 sophomore, Izunabor



15 points and snagged seven rebounds in the Panthers’ win against North Florida. The Most Valuable Player for Fayetteville Academy in the 2019 NCISAA 2-A state championship, Izunabor also had a pair of blocks and four steals against the Ospreys.



• JOHN-MICHAEL WRIGHT, High Point :
The 14th-leading scorer in the nation, Wright is averaging 24 points per game for the Panthers. In 30 minutes against the Ospreys, the 6-foot-1 guard scored 23 points on 8-for-18 shooting with six free throws. He also pulled down six rebounds and dished out three assists. Played at Fayetteville Academy



• GREG GANTT, Providence :
In the Friars’ win against Farleigh Dickinson, Gantt filled the stat sheet with nine points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals. The 6-foot-8 sophomore, who starred at Trinity Christian School, has started in each of Providence’s first five games this season.
