‒ THE BURLINGTON SCHOOL 57, ORANGE 46: At Mebane, Aniyah Vanhook and Molina Williams each scored 19 points as The Burlington School defeated Orange in the first round of the Holiday Hoopla.
Williams’ performance included 11 rebounds, seven assists and five steals while Vanhook had five rebounds, five assists and six steals.
Ayanna Griggs finished with 13 points and five rebounds for The Burlington School.
The Spartans (5-5) play Eastern Alamance in a semifinal game at 6 p.m. Friday.
Grace Andrews scored 15 points to lead Orange (4-3). Jala Rainey added 12 points.
