HIGH POINT — Luke Gesell starred at the plate and on the mound as High Point Christian Academy rolled past Forsyth Country Day School for a 13-6 PACIS victory on Tuesday.
Gesell went 4 for 5 with two doubles, a homer, four runs and three RBIs. He pitched four innings with two hits and eight strikeouts to earn the win. Timmy Fischvogt finished 3 for 5 with a double and four RBIs, while Bailey Edwards was 2 for 4 with a run and RBI. Austin Hendley was 3 for 4 with a double, three RBIs and two runs. Josh Nifong was 3 for 3 with two runs.
Dylan Wilkinson, Edwards and McLean each tossed one inning for HPCA.
