Lady Cyclones win on Senior Night
On Senior Night, the Community Christian volleyball team defeated Christ Covenant School 25-23, 25-16, 25-17.
The team honored seniors Janna Mercer and Abigale Bass before the match.
Anna Jackson led the Lady Cyclones with seven kills and an ace, while Morgan Garner had six aces and served nine straight points in the second set. Bass had four aces and two kills and Olivia Bullard had 10 assists.
“I was very proud of the way they played today,” CCS head coach Kasey Perry said. “They started the first game with a seven-point deficit and came back to win. They second game they came out fighting and played hard and even when we were down in the third game they pushed through and finished strong. They did everything I asked of them.”
