WINTERVILLE — The fourth consecutive match in a row eluded the Community Christian School varsity volleyball team Monday afternoon as the Lady Cyclones won the first set before conceding a 26-24, 19-25, 25-21, 25-23 decision at Christ Covenant on Monday night.
Anna Jackson had six kills, four service points and a pair of aces for the 1-A Lady Cyclones (1-4) of the split 1-A/2-A Coastal Independent Conference. Lauren Pate tallied six kills, four service points and a trio of blocks as Olivia Bullard directed the offense with 14 assists.
Erika Vandenbrink had 17 service points. Emily Boyette finished with 12 service points, four assists and a trio of aces. CCS is home to crosstown rival Greenfield on Tuesday night at Peace Church.
