ARDEN — Chase Pyrtle went 3 for 4 with two RBIs and a run as Westchester Country Day School topped Christ School 7-3 on Saturday.
The Wildcats (20- 5 ) scored four runs in the first inning and three in the third. Alec Hunter tossed sixinnings of six-hit, three-run ball to get the win. He struck out five and walked four. Will Shields fanned two in a perfect seventh. Hunter finished 2 for 3 with an RBI.
Westchester plays in the TAC tournament semifinals today at 2 p.m. at Trinity School of Durham.
