A foul performance at the foul line in the latter stages of Monday’s nonconference varsity boys basketball left host Community Christian on the short end of a 54-53 loss in double overtime to Sanford Grace Christian.
The Cyclones made just 16 of their 37 free-throw attempts, misfiring on 18 trips to the line over the final four minutes of regulation time and through both extra periods in Williamson Gym on the ENCSD campus.
