The Wilson Christian girls basketball team had a tough night shooting in a 45-36 loss at home to St. Mary’s of Raleigh on Thursday in a non-conference clash.
The Lady Chargers (9-3) shot just 38 percent from the field, including hitting just 2 of 19 from 3-point range, in the loss.
Senior Julianne Attoe led WCA with 17 points and four rebounds. Senior Presley Bissett had five points and five assists.
Andy Gassaway-Smithey led St. Mary’s, which improved to 4-2, with 25 points.
Wilson Christian will travel to Bethel Christian on Friday night at 6.
