Community Christian sweeps Raleigh foe

Six players served for a total of 43 points in the Community Christian School volleyball team’s 25-23, 25-23, 25-11 triumph against St. Thomas Moore of Raleigh on Thursday evening.
Erika vandenbrink paced the Lady Cyclones with 11 points, followed by Olivia Bullard with 10, Anna Jackson and Lauren Pate with nine each, Emily Boyette with three and Morgan Garner with one.
Pate added five aces and seven kills, while Bullard notched 13 assists. Jackson contributed two aces and four kills, while Boyette had an ace and three kills. Vandenbrink totaled three aces, while Garner had an ace and three kills.
