Lady Chargers keep rolling with win in Cary
CARY — Another night, another win for the Wilson Christian Academy girls basketball team. The Lady Chargers picked up their fourth straight victory with a 36-27 win at Cary Academy Thursday night.
Jocelyn Bailey led the Lady Chargers (16-3) with 13 points, while Hailey Carnes tallied a double-double with 10 points and 16 of the team’s 36 rebounds. Gabby Matejowsky led Cary Academy (6-8) with nine points. Wilson Christian got off to a strong start in this one, taking a 12-4 lead through one quarter and 23-12 lead at halftime before holding on for its 16th victory of the year in the second half.
The Lady Chargers will be back in action at Wake Christian Academy Friday night.
