WESLEYAN’S REITNOUR NAMED REGION COACHOF THE YEAR
Wesleyan Christian boys soccer coach Scott Reitnour was named the United Soccer Coaches’ Mid-Atlantic Region Coach of the Year.He received the award in January during the organization’s annual convention in Baltimore.The Trojans finished this season with their eighth state championship — and third consecutive — in 13 finals appearances under Reitnour during his 17-year tenure.
“I am thankful for the opportunity to teach and coach at Wesleyan Christian Academy,” Reitnour said in a release from the school. “It is a great privilege and a testimony to God’s mercy that I get to be a part of this community. I would like to pay tribute to our amazing play-ers, fantastic coaching staff, excellent administrative support and my supportive family.
