LASKER — The bid of the Community Christian eight-player football team to capture the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association championship ended in the semifinals Friday night with a 36-26 loss to Northeast-Hobgood Academy.
The Cyclones also lost to Northeast-Hobgood during the regular season.
CCS concluded a 2017 season of high expectations with a 3-6 record.
