CCS falls in 4 to Crossroads
Community Christian School remained winless through four varsity volleyball matches after a four-set loss to visiting Crossroads Christian of Henderson in Tuesday’s match in the Peace Church gym.
The Lady Cyclones dropped the first two matches by 25-20 scores before rallying to claim set 3 by a 25-23 margin. Crossroads then closed it out with a 25-17 win in game 4.
Anna Jackson slammed down seven kills and served 11 points, including an ace, to lead CCS, while Ashley Hartsfield had eight points, with three aces, to go with three assists and two kills. Olivia Bullard served eight points with an ace and doled out six assists.
The Lady Cyclones will visit Pungo Academy on Monday in Belhaven.
